I have always felt a deep connection to the vibrant colors found in the wild, but my artistic journey truly found its heartbeat during a time of immense personal loss. After losing my son, I was faced with a depth of grief that felt impossible to carry. Someone once told me that grief is simply love with nowhere to go, and those words changed everything for me. I decided to give that love a home by pouring it into my painting. Every leaf, stem, and bloom I hand-paint onto these vessels is a tribute to that love and a way to navigate my way back to the light. Inspired by the cozy warmth of my family’s beloved Friendly Village china, I celebrate the beauty of the natural world in every intricate detail. My hope is that when you hold one of my pieces, you feel a sense of handheld magic—a quiet moment of reflection and joy that fills your heart and home.
